In the American state of Virginia (Virginia), an armed person shot dead 10 people, while many were injured.
According to reports from the American media, the incident took place in the city of Chesapeake, Virginia.
Chesapeake police tweeted on the micro-blogging site that there were reports of several people killed and injured in a shooting at Wal-Mart, after which police rushed to the scene and sealed off Wal-Mart and the surrounding area.
The police further said that the investigation of the incident is ongoing, at present they cannot say anything about the attacker.
According to reports, the shooter was the manager of the store, who first opened fire on people in the store and then committed suicide by shooting himself.
The incident took place at 10:12 pm local time.
