Gun attack in Sweden kills 1, injures 3

A 15-year-old boy was killed and three others injured in a gun attack in Sweden. The country’s police said that the shooting happened in Stockholm on Saturday local time.

In a report published on Sunday, AFP said that police received reports of gunfire in the southern part of Stockholm before Saturday evening. However, it is not yet certain what caused the attack.

A 15-year-old boy was shot and killed at the scene of the shooting, Stockholm police spokeswoman Tøve Haag said. The injured have been admitted to a local hospital. They are currently undergoing treatment.

In a statement, the police said, another 15-year-old boy was injured in the incident. Besides, a 45-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman were also injured.

They said two suspects were arrested in a car chase within an hour of the attack. An investigation into the incident has been initiated. Earlier on Friday, three others were injured in two separate shooting incidents in Stockholm.
