Gujarat gave Mumbai a target of 234 runs, Shubman Gill played a stormy innings of 129 runs.

The second qualifying match is being played between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at Ahmedabad Stadium. Batting first in this match, Gujarat Titans scored 233 runs with the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. For Gujarat, an excellent innings of 129 runs was seen under the bat of opening batsman Shubman Gill. Piyush Chawla and Akash Madhwal picked up 1-1 wickets from the Mumbai side.

Mumbai Indians had decided to pitch first after winning the toss in this match. Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha, who came out to start the innings from Gujarat, worked together to get the team off to a fast start. Gill and Saha together reached 20 runs in 3 overs.

Following this, the two together brought the score to 50 runs without a loss at the end of the 6 overs game. Gujarat took the first blow in this match at the hands of Wriddhiman Saha on a score of 54, who was stunned by Piyush Chawla after playing out an 18-run innings on 16 balls.

Gill and Sudarshan shared a partnership of 138 runs for the second wicket on 64 balls. The Gujarat team landed the second strike in this match with a score of 192.

Captain Hardik Pandya, who came out to bat for Gujarat after Shubman Gill returned to the pavilion, continued to push the scoring along with Sai Sudarshan. Though Gujarat could manage to score just 7 runs in the 18th of the innings. While in 19, the team was able to score only 9 runs. Before the start of the 20th, Sai Sudarshan retired in 43 runs. In the 20th, the Gujarat team managed to score 19 runs.

The Gujarat team scored 233 runs with the loss of 3 wickets in 20 overs. Hardik scored 28 runs while Rashid Khan also played a 5 run innings. Piyush Chawla and Akash Madhwal bowled 1-1 wickets for the Mumbai side.
