The arrival of Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition to the main gaming platforms. This includes three legendary games: GTA III, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas.
For several years, these already have renewed versions for consoles, computers and mobiles. But these differed little from the original version. The difference between these new versions is that the graphical improvements will be noticeable, according to Rockstar. And this will show in the ‘weight of the game’.
Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition will occupy 38GB on PlayStation
The PlayStation Game Size page has shared on Twitter that, in total, the three games will occupy something like 38GB on PlayStation. The differences in size compared to the original versions are quite noticeable.
GTA III had, in the PS2 version, something like 1,569 GB, now going to 5,293 GB. Now GTA Vice City goes from 2,392 GB to 10,768 GB. But the big leap is given by GTA San Andreas: it weighed 3230 GB in the original version and now it will have 22 679 GB.
These jumps make us foresee, especially in San Andreas, that we will have great graphical improvements. But at least as of this writing, they are still in the gods’ secret.
On November 11, the definitive editions of the three games will be available for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC. In 2022 the mobile versions arrive.
