GTA The Trilogy: PC configuration on the run, it will be more greedy than GTA 5

gta official trilogy

Rockstar recently formalized the existence of GTA The Trilogy, which includes GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas. The studio has been hit with the wall by all the leaks, but has not given more details on this remaster. Today new hallway sounds give us interesting info on the PC version.

It is the user alloc8or, who has already unearthed some information about the game, who publishes the minimum and recommended configurations required for this trilogy. You can thus check if your PC is strong enough or not to launch this version.

PC requirements

Minimum configuration:

  • Intel Core i5-2700K / AMD FX-6300
  • Nvidia GeForde GTX 720 2 GB / AMD Radeon R9 280 3 GB
  • 8 GB RAM
  • 45 GB of storage space
  • Windows 10

Recommended configuration:

  • Intel Core i7-6600K / AMD Ryzen 5 2600
  • Nvidia GeForde GTX 970 4 GB / AMD Radeon RX 570 4 GB
  • 16 GB RAM
  • 45 GB of storage space
  • Windows 10

As you can see, a somewhat old PC will be able to run the game. It will still be necessary to have a more powerful machine than at the time. For comparison, San Andreas only took 5 GB on your hard drive and required a GeForce 3 at least. GTA 5, for its part, takes up more space, but is less demanding in terms of CPU and GPU.

These three titles, which all use the same engine, defined the codes of the urban open world, even creating a genre all by themselves: the GTA-like. The release of this remastered edition is a good opportunity to (re) dive into this part of video game history. While waiting for GTA 6 …
