Fans of the Grand Theft Auto franchise are patiently waiting for the release of GTA 6. The new Rockstar game has already been confirmed by the studio, however, nothing has been announced regarding the release schedule.
Some rumors pointed to the possibility that this game was presented this week during Take-Two’s financial report. However, what happened was precisely the opposite.
GTA 6 can only arrive in 2024 or 2025
In the meeting that took place with Take-Two investors, the study revealed its forecasts for the next three years. It is, therefore, based on these predictions that everything indicates that GTA 6 will only arrive in the fiscal year that ends in March 2025.
This means that GTA 6 will only be able to release in the period between April 2024 and March 2025. In other words, one after the predictions of several analysts that pointed to a release in the fiscal year 2024.
This rumor was based on Take-Two forecasts that pointed to reserves of around 9,000 million dollars. However, that forecast was recently revised down by Take-Two to just $5.55 billion.
The new peak of reserves forecast by Take-Two is now in fiscal year 2025 with forecasts of US$8 billion. In addition, the company’s CEO stated that this will be “a highly anticipated year” with the presentation of several innovative titles that will change the industry.
Such statements are in line with the release of the long-awaited GTA 6 in this period. However, it never hurts to emphasize that Take-Two never mentioned the new GTA, or any other game by name, at this investor meeting.
Now we have to wait for more information about the long-awaited GTA 6. In particular, when this desired title will finally be available on the market.
