The cat is out of the bag: Rockstar has now revealed the official launch date for the first trailer for what is probably the most anticipated video game of the moment. The first trailer for GTA 6 appears on:
Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 3 p.m. German time (9 a.m. US Eastern time).
Rockstar points this out to visitors to its website, among other things. “Trailer 1. Tuesday, December 5. 9 am ET” it says succinctly.

The associated tweet by Rockstar Games was liked over a million times, commented on over 65,000 times, shared over 440,000 times and viewed over 115 million times within just a few hours! That alone shows how massive the interest is in seeing the first moving game scenes from Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6). It can be assumed that the first GTA 6 trailer will break all view records.
In recent weeks there has been repeated speculation about when Rockstar Games will present the first GTA 6 trailer to the public. There was recently speculation that the trailer could be shown as a world premiere at “The Game Awards 2023” on Thursday evening, December 7, 2023. But Rockstar Games ultimately decided to simply create its own “event”.
