Great pitching of the Lions dominates the Eagles

With timely batting and impeccable work from the pitching staff, the Leones del Escogido defeated the Águilas Cibaeñas 5-2 on Tuesday in a match held at the Cibao stadium.

The Scarlets attacked starter Ramón Rossó in the second inning, who scored a couple of runs, one by mistake by second baseman Robel García with runners on second and third, and another with an RBI single by Jonathan Guzmán to left field.

The long-haired men made one more in the third, when Francisco Urbáez received a ball from Rossó, he moved to intermediate by undisputed Albert Pujols to the center and arrived at the register with another incogible from Iván Castillo to the left forest.
