Riyadh: Health passport facility will be provided to the passengers of King Fahd Bridge connecting Bahrain and the Kingdom.
According to Arab media reports, it has been decided to provide health passport facility to the passengers of King Fahd Bridge connecting the two Gulf countries (Saudi Arabia and Bahrain) soon.
The report said that the Saudi cabinet had given the head of the Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (Sadaya) Prince Mohammed bin Salman the authority to negotiate with the e-government of Bahrain in this regard.
Under the ruling, Saudi and Bahraini nationals traveling on the King Fahd Bridge and foreigners residing in the two countries will have access to health passports when visiting each other.
The health data of the passengers traveling on King Fahl Bridge will be checked through their health passports.
The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz. Health passports will be issued to passengers soon.
