Regarding the ICC ODI World Cup which begins on October 5 in India, a different enthusiasm is being seen among fans everywhere. For the first time, India is going to host this mega event solo and that is why the Board of Control for Cricket India (BCCI) wants to leave no stone unturned in their preparations. Now a lot of information has surfaced about the online ticketing process for the ODI World Cup.
E-ticket sales for ODI World can start from August 10. According to the Times of India report, BCCI has also finalized two big online ticketing companies for this. In this, one company is Book My Show and the other is Paytm. However, despite this, it will be mandatory for fans to have a physical ticket to access the stadium.
Regarding online ticket sales, a source said in a statement to The Times of India that BookMyShow and Paytm will handle ticket sales for half of the matches of the upcoming World Cup. The ticket book for the India and Pakistan match and the final will be available on My Show. And the tickets for the semifinal match will be sold on Paytm.
BCCI Secretary Jai Shah had given a statement a few days ago regarding the schedule change of some ODI World Cup matches. In this, there is also the possibility of changing the date of the match between India and Pakistan, which will be played on October 15 at the Ahmedabad stadium. At the same time, the Indian team will kick off their campaign with a match against Australia on October 8.
