Gray will replace Evans at Betis

the american point guard Josh Gray has arrived in Seville to sign until the end of the season with the Real Betispenultimate in the Endesa League, where he will take over from Shannon Evans, the competition’s top scorer until his transfer to Valencia Basket.

Gray, 1.85 meters tall and 29 years old, has terminated this week the contract that linked him to the Russian Lokomotiv Kuban and will become a Betic player as soon as he passes the medical examination, as reported to EFE Verdiblanco club sources.

A native of the state of Louisiana, the next Betic player completed his formative stage at Texas Tech and Louisiana State universities, before signing a contract with the NBA Development League, which allowed him to play seven games in the American professional championship, five with the Phoenix Suns and two with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Josh Gray has little experience in Europe, since he did not make the leap to the Old Continent until last November, when he signed for a Lokomotiv Kuban with whom he has only played five games in which he has averaged 5.8 and 1 ,6 assists.
