Doubles Duo Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos Eye Grand Slam Title
Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos, a Spanish-Argentine doubles pairing, are on the cusp of realizing their dream of winning a Grand Slam title.
The duo, who finished as runners-up in the 2021 and 2023 editions of the French Open, made a strong start to their Wimbledon campaign on Monday. They defeated Sebastián Báez and Dustin Brown, 6-3 and 6-3, to reach the quarterfinals.
As top seeds in the draw, Granollers and Zeballos remain undefeated in the tournament. They received a bye in the second round after Nicolas Mahut and Skander Mansouri withdrew due to injury.
Granollers and Zeballos are not only excelling on the court but also off it. They are currently sharing a house in Wimbledon with their families, forming a small household just a few meters from the All England Club courts.
The pair’s continued success in Grand Slam tournaments is a testament to their hard work and determination. With their sights set on lifting the title, they will look to build on their momentum in the coming days.
