A new Grand Theft Auto, the much talked about GTA VI, is still a mirage. Although there are some rumors and leaks, it is very possible that it will not arrive until 2023. But until then there is time for Rockstar Games to pay attention to other projects.
More specifically, we are talking about the “Grand Theft Auto Trilogy” which, according to a credible filter, will be released in the future in a remastered form. When asked about the matter, Yan2295 replied in the affirmative.
At stake will be the new remastered versions of GTA III, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas. And while the move hasn’t been officially confirmed, Take-Two (owner of Rockstar Games) said this week that it has remasters scheduled for release in 2022.
As with any information leak without official confirmation, we should look at this with a “pinch of salt.” However, this same source has received requests from Take-Two in the past to stop revealing GTA Online content too soon.
This trilogy was first compiled for Xbox in 2005 and later for PS2 and PC. Eventually you would receive a PlayStation 4 version with improvements that make the experience of playing these classics.
If these remastered versions of the classics are confirmed, we may be in variants for the next generation consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.
