PlayStation has unveiled a new trailer for the long-awaited Gran Turismo 7. The one that became a benchmark in car simulation returns in 2022, and Kazunori Yamauchi explains in video what it was like to make this game an experience never seen before on PS5.
The lead producer talks about how realism and immersion are two of the aspects that stand out the most with the use of haptic feedback, or adaptive triggers. Check out the video statements below.
Gran Turismo 7 will have the “level of tangible realism” that producers have always wanted
The producer claims that the PS5’s capabilities will finally give the Gran Turismo series the level of “tangible realism” they have always hoped to achieve. Adaptive triggers will be felt, for example, in braking differences and intensity.
In Scapes mode, there will be support for Ray Tracing technology to make vehicles look even better. Support for 4K, HDR, and 60 frames per second will also help make the game more realistic.
However, in Japan, informational brochures about the game have already started to be distributed. Gran Turismo 7 will feature more than 420 car models and 90 designs with realistic settings and adapted weather conditions.
It is now possible to pre-order this Gran Turismo 7 through the PlayStation Store. This will be available to play from March 4 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
