Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Govinda may reunite on the big screen after nearly 18 years. Reports indicate Govinda is set to join Salman Khan in the upcoming film “Battle of Galwan.” The potential collaboration has generated significant buzz among fans.
Salman Khan recently hinted at working with Govinda again during an episode of “Bigg Boss 19.” Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, appeared as a guest on the show. While Salman did not disclose the project’s name, speculation points to the war drama “Battle of Galwan.”
Some media outlets even claim that Govinda has already commenced shooting for the film. “Battle of Galwan” is directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
The movie is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict between India and China. This confrontation occurred at an altitude of over 15,000 feet and notably involved no gunfire. Chitrangada Singh is also slated for a prominent role in the film.
Salman Khan and Govinda share a decades-long friendship. Govinda has often credited Salman for helping revive his career during challenging periods. Their last joint venture was the 2007 hit “Partner.” They also appeared together in “Salaam-e-Ishq.”
