Govinda Alleges Bollywood Conspiracy Against Him

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Govinda on the big screen, but in a recent conversation, he opened up about his career options, missed opportunities, and the challenges he’s faced in the film industry. The actor revealed that he once turned down a film that could have earned him a whopping 100 crores, a decision he deeply regrets. He also claimed that there were deliberate attempts to tarnish his reputation.

While speaking to Mukesh Khanna on his YouTube channel, Bhishm International, Govinda reminisced, “When people were writing that I didn’t have any work, I turned down a 100-crore film. I looked at myself in the mirror and even slapped myself for that decision. I thought, ‘You’re crazy, this money could have secured your future.’ The role was something that’s typical in today’s films.” He expressed his regret over the decision, wondering what could have been if he had chosen differently.

However, he defended his decision, emphasizing the importance of being true to oneself. “It’s crucial to be honest with yourself and listen to your conscience,” he said. Govinda also recalled a tough phase in his career when he alleged that a smear campaign was launched against him. He stated, “I went through a period where I was deliberately targeted and ousted from the industry.”

The Conspiracy Against Govinda in Bollywood

Govinda claimed, “I realized that an uneducated outsider like me had entered the world of educated people, and they wanted me out. I didn’t know how far they would go, but the conspiracies began. People were even caught with guns outside my house. That period completely changed me.” This isn’t the first time Govinda has spoken about his struggles in the industry. In a previous interview with The Times of India, he disclosed his financial troubles, claiming that he had lost around 16 crores in the past 14-15 years due to the industry’s revenge against him.
