How it works
The government will give taxi companies money to buy electric cars and install charging stations. They’ll also help them switch to digital systems, like electronic meters and receipt printers.
For electric cars, the government will pay:
- 5,000 euros for each car bought
- 6,000 euros for each old car (over 10 years old) that’s replaced
- Up to 750 euros for charging equipment
For digital systems, the government will pay:
- Half of the cost, up to 5,000 euros, for things like electronic meters and receipt printers
