Google starts testing Android games on Windows

Google’s Android integration with Microsoft’s Windows is on the rise. And during the launch of Windows 11, we learned that it would support Android apps natively.

It did not arrive when the new version was released, but now there is good news for gamers. The Google Play Games Beta has just launched in select markets on PC.

The Beta version will first be available in Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan. “All users in those regions can sign up for the waitlist, but we will extend invitations on an ongoing basis. Those who receive an invitation and meet the minimum PC requirements will be able to participate.

The minimum requirements to participate in the Beta version:

Among the available games we find Rise of Empires: Ice and Fire, Township, Idle Heroes, Dragon Mania: A Legend or asphalt 9: legends. These are just some of the titles available, and you can check the full list on the official website.

With the Google Play Games app for Windows, you can access games from Google Play mobile devices and Windows computers. It’s good to note that, for now, it’s not yet available for Mac.

As for a possible arrival in more markets, such as Portugal, it will take place from the end of 2022.
