The prank between Google and Apple is well known, with several instances of exchanges between the two North American giants. Now we have the latest Apple satire and iconic Jony Ive in the new promo video for Google Pixel 5A 5G.
It is a video of just over two minutes in length in which Google imitates the pronunciation and style of Apple’s promotional videos full of hyperbole and exuberance. The result? Try not to laugh while getting to know the new Android smartphone.

The voice of the narrator makes the difference in this new video from Google. In fact, at first glance we can mistake his voice for that of Jony Ive, the iconic former Apple designer, responsible for the narration of most of his promotional videos.
However, there is a strong satire present in every detail of the speech, as well as the background whispers that make it difficult not to laugh when watching this production. Although it is a promotional video, the video could well pass for a comedy play.
Particular attention is paid to pronunciation, exaggerations, and mention of famous people Jacob, the 3.5mm audio port that’s long gone from Apple’s iPhone. Here, however, the Pixel 5A 5G is still present, as evidenced by production.

Finally, it is important to remember that Google’s top of the range do not include this audio port. Jacob 3.5mm so Mountain View technology also has glass roofs. Not that this diminishes the brilliance of this peculiar production.
