Coming (probably) in October, these are some of the first rumors and leaks about the Google Pixel 7 and Google Pixel 7 Pro smartphones. We have, above all, predictable topics such as the maintenance of Tensor processors manufactured by Samsung, as well as names of product code.
More specifically, the use of the second generation of chipsets Google Tensor, processors manufactured by Samsung according to Google’s own specifications. On the other hand, the code names indicated are the leopard and panther for Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, respectively.
The next generation of Google Pixel smartphones arrives in late 2022
The popularity of Google’s smartphones has gradually increased, with the Pixel 6 range making several headlines in 2021. They are two very polarized smartphones with their own (and quirky) design and unique processors, as well as pure Android.
Mobile phones can be purchased through the Amazon.ES online store, although they are not officially available in Portugal through the Play Store. By the way, we have already found the Google Pixel 6 given that €709.90reasonable value for the smartphone in question.
The timid, but gradual, expansion of the Pixels in Europe creates greater expectations for the Pixel 7 models and the first leaks of information are already being felt. Thus, we have the second generation of Google Tensor processors in the next Pixel 7 that Samsung will produce.
Samsung will produce the second generation of Tensor processors
According to current knowledge, the second generation of Google Tensor processors will be identified by the number Tensor GS201 with the code name Cloudripper for the chipsets. In addition to other details, we believe that these SoCs integrate the Samsung g5300b modem, therefore Exynos 5300.
This hypothesis gains more strength since the current Google Tensor processor (GS101) integrates Samsung’s g5123b modem, the Exynos 5123. So far this is the maximum scope of information leaks.
In short, we have new Google Pixel smartphones arriving between October and December 2022 with new processors. Meanwhile, we will have more information leaks that will allow us to know the products in a timely manner.
