Google Pixel 10 smartphones may arrive August 13

The wait is almost over for Google’s next big smartphone release. If the latest rumors are true, we’re just weeks away from meeting the Pixel 10. The new lineup could be unveiled as early as August 13, with pre-orders starting the same day and shipping beginning on August 20.

Google hasn’t confirmed anything, but the rumor mill is in full swing. Last year’s Pixel 9 was also announced on August 13, which adds weight to the speculation. The company is expected to reveal four new models: the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

Design Tweaks Ahead

The search giant is allegedly sticking to the Pixel’s classic design but with some minor adjustments. The SIM card slot is being moved to the top left edge, replacing the antenna opening on the Pixel 9. More significantly, the leak gives us a glimpse of the Tensor G5 chip under the hood, featuring a complex configuration of two Cortex-A520 cores, three plus two Cortex-A725 cores, and a Cortex-X4 core. The modem is rumored to be a g5400i, likely a Samsung Exynos model rather than a MediaTek one.

As for what’s new, Google is hosting an event on June 27 in London, where select “superfans” and retailers will get an exclusive look at the upcoming models. This has only added fuel to the rumor fire.

We’ll have to wait and see how accurate these rumors are, but one thing’s for sure: the anticipation is building. Stay tuned for more updates on the Pixel 10 and its potential release date.
