Google Expands Merchant Center Next to All Advertiser Accounts
Google has announced the expansion of its Merchant Center Next to all advertiser accounts, following its initial announcement at Google Marketing Live in 2023. The company had previously planned to launch the update at the beginning of this year, but it has been delayed until the third quarter.

The new Merchant Center Next will replace legacy Merchant Center accounts and feature a renewed interface and new features on Google’s e-commerce platform. Classic users have already started receiving notifications that the update is available. However, some advertisers have reported issues with the evolution of Merchant Center Next.

Steps to Add Complementary Feeding
- In Merchant Center, click the Settings & Tools icon on the right side of the top bar.
- Select Add-ons.
- On the Discover tab, select Enable for the Advanced Data Source Management card.
- A list of active plugins is located in the “Active” tab.
- If you want to disable advanced data source management, click Disable for the Advanced Data Source Management card.
- When enabled, a new navigation item is added to the “Active” tab for “Advanced Data Source Management.”
