With Google Maps voice navigation, you can hear traffic alerts, where to turn and if there’s a better route. Additionally, this feature gives users the ability to receive more detailed voice commands and new types of verbal commands to walk.
Since today, Users will now be able to use all Google Maps voice navigation instructions in Catalan, on both Android and iOS systems.
The linguistic offer of the application until now was limited to text only, however, with the new update that is already fully available, voice commands are added in this language.
To use this new function, users must update the application to the latest version, then they must specify that the voice of the directions is in Catalan in the navigation configuration section and be ready to offer the desired directions in that language.
Google Maps currently has more than 1 billion monthly active users and is focused on helping people navigate and explore with confidence in over 250 countries and territories.
