Google’s new Gemini AI feature is a game-changer for Google Workspace users. It makes searching for information in PDF files and Google Forms a whole lot easier. Gemini can summarize the content of PDFs and Forms stored on Google Drive. When you open a PDF, Gemini creates a summary card with options like “draft a proposal” or “generate interview questions based on a resume”. You can choose one, and Gemini will show the results on the side panel of Drive.
Gemini also summarizes answers from Google Forms. You’ll see the summary options on the Responses tab once your form has more than three responses.

The PDF and Forms summary features will only be available in English. Google will start rolling them out to Workspace users on June 26.

These features will be available in English only, starting July 7, for Workspace users.
