Google Keep adopts a new design and tools for sticky notes

Google Keep is one of the least known applications of Mountain View technology, but one of the ones I use the most. It is your notes application, which is always installed on all my devices.

As has been the hallmark of several Google apps, Keep will also adopt Android 12’s Material You layout. As you can see from the images below, it will have a search field in the form of a stack at the top.

It is also in this bar where you can access your profile or change how you want to view your notes. These can appear in rectangular or square format, so you can have more in a small space.

According to 9to5Google, the big changes are in the widgets. We have a new widget in “X” format, which allows you to create new notes, lists, drawings, recordings or photos.

This is a 3 by 2 widget, but we also have 3 by 1 or 4 by 1 options. This second one gives you the same options, but with a fresh and simple design that many users will like.

Also in the list of widgets, Google Keep brings good news. Following the rounded ideology, these will be available in various formats so that your notes or tasks are always at hand.

These new features come to Google Keep with Material You Design in version 5.21.361 of the application. You should bear in mind that these images were obtained by 9to5Google through an analysis of the application code, and it will take a while to reach all users.
