Google Keep 3 Revamps Wear OS Design with New Features

Google’s making some big changes to its Keep app on Wear OS. The new design is all about simplicity and ease of use. Let’s take a look at what’s new.

The home screen now has a bigger plus button, making it easier to create new notes. The Notes cards have also been redesigned, with a spinning image instead of a background picture. This gives the app a fresh, modern feel.

Other changes include a new layout for the “Add reminder” and “Archive” buttons. They’re now on the same line, with just icons and no text labels. When you tap on them, they’ll show a little animation. The right-hand slider bar is also thicker, making it easier to swipe through.

Some other tweaks include a new “All done” message that pops up when you complete a checklist in a note. There’s also an “Uncheck all” button. These little changes make the app more intuitive and user-friendly.

So, which Wear OS devices can use this new UI? Right now, it’s only available on the OnePlus Watch 2R with Wear OS 4. But Google says it’ll be rolling out the Material 3 Expressive design to older Wear OS versions soon. It’s not available to everyone just yet, but it should be coming to more devices in the near future.
