Google Clock and Calculator change their face. And it’s not just on Android 12

It is only a matter of time before the final version of Android 12 begins to reach the first users. This Wednesday Google released the fifth and final Beta version of the operating system, and there are two notable cosmetic changes.

With this update come cosmetic changes to the Google Phone and Calculator application. As you can see below, the goal is for them to follow the design standards known as “Material You”.

The images published by XDA-Developers show version 7.0 of the Google Clock application with larger buttons and bubbles. All interactive elements were moved to the bottom, making it more accessible. Also, everything is more rounded.

The Calculator application also follows these design lines in version 8.0. Unlike the Clock application, where black predominates, here we have a very colorful look. As a general rule, everything is more rounded.

As the source says, you will need to have Android 12 installed on your smartphone for these apps to have the same colors as your wallpaper. However, you can count on the remaining design changes in previous versions of Android.

Now you can download the latest versions of Google Clock and Google Calculator through APK Mirror safely. If you have no problem waiting, you can do so soon via the Google Play Store.
