It is often said that time is money. And it is that many times when we have several applications open at the same time, one of the problems is the videos or advertisements that start playing sound automatically.
With the latest measure, Google wants to make it easier for you to mute a particular tab/window. As you can see in the GIF below, the process can now be done with just one click.

How to enable the functionality in Chrome Canary
This version can be downloaded for Windows Mac or Linux. there you access chrome://flags and look for the ‘window silence UI control’ option. However, you should be aware that Chrome Canary is a trial version and may be unstable.
