Google Chrome is the most used browser on Android devices, and very soon it will receive a new security control to prevent potentially important information from being lost when leaving the application. The novelty comes first to the Android universe.
We are facing a close check of all open tabs in the Google Chrome application to avoid accidental closures. It will be, for most users, a safeguard when we want to consult some information again.
Tab closure warning already in tests in Google Chrome
The news was first advanced by the portal XDA Developers, highlighting the presence of this new control in the test options. That is, from Chrome Canary, in flags where we can find new features and innovations in the testing phase.
We also saw the post TechDows the arrival of the “Close all tabs modal dialog” control, that is, a new dialog window that will alert the user when exiting Google Chrome, thus avoiding closing all open tabs.
It is also important to note that from Chrome Canary 100 onwards it is possible to find the new flag in the following directory: chrome://flags. Then you can find and activate the “Close all tabs” function, which will open the new dialog window in each session.
Feature now available for testing in Google Chrome Canary

Once the feature is active, the user can simply press the “Cancel” key to cancel the closing of the tabs. On the other hand, you can also click on “Close all tabs” and, as the button indicates, close all tabs.
Then when you reopen the browser, it will show a single blank tab, the home page usually with the Google search engine. That is, closing all tabs clears the memory and closes the app on Android devices.
Finally, if you want to try this feature now, you can download Chrome Canary, via Play Storethe news has not yet reached the flags from Chrome (stable).
