Google Chrome has established a series of changes in its platform, with the aim of further facilitate searches to users. The grouped tabs tool was introduced a few years ago. However, not everyone is satisfied with this, since it is not possible to deactivate this option. For this reason, Google has incorporated two tests related to this grouping of tabs available in Google Chrome Beta.
Advantages of adding Google Chrome Beta
This new browser, Google Chrome Beta, offers a multitude of tools and services. Instead of having a list of shortcuts to your favorite websites, there are a few ‘cards’ that direct you directly to the searches you have done previously. The good thing about this is that you can go back to see the pages where you have been before without having to read the entire list.
This new browser allows you to do more things, such as taking you directly to a Google document that you have left halfway through or even directing you to a web page where you have included a series of products in the cart and in the end, for one reason or another, no you have been able to make the purchase.
And, most importantly, is that you can open a separate tab or create a group together with the website you are visiting, although the tab grouping option cannot be completely disabled.
The company has advised that if it is the first time you download this platform, you will have to leave it open for a few minutes, close it and reopen it so that you can enjoy these changes. Furthermore, they hope that, If this pilot project comes out, they can later incorporate the official version.
