Google has just released a new update to its version of Chrome for Android. The new version now includes the Follow button that allows users to receive updates from their favorite sites. The Follow button will be included in the three-dot options located in the upper right corner of the screen.
Once the feature is activated, the articles published on the selected sites will appear in a new source that appears each time the user opens a new tab in the Chrome browser.
The information was confirmed on the social network Twitter by Adrienne Porter Felt, director of the engineering area of ​​Google Chrome, who assures that for now the new functionality is only available for Android users.
In case you are a user with the version of Chrome 94 for Android, you may already be able to see the Follow button in the three-dot menu, in the upper right corner of the smartphone screen. If you can’t see it, you can activate the new feature manually.
Just go to chrome: // flags, search for “Web Feed” and activate the settings. Also according to Adrienne Porter Felt’s post, iOS users can get access to the Follow button next year.
