The people of the United Arab Emirates have been given the gift of Eid by raising the prices of petroleum products on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to Emirati media, the good news for the people is that the prices of petroleum products have come down for the month of May.
The Fuel Price Committee has announced new petrol and diesel prices for next month, effective May 1.
The price of Super 98 petrol for next month has been reduced from 3.74 dirhams to 3.66 dirhams per liter. The price of Special 95 petrol has been reduced to 3.55 dirhams per liter.
The price of E-Plus 95 petrol has come down to 3.48 liters but the price of diesel has gone up marginally. The price of diesel has been fixed at 4.08 dirhams per liter.
