Good news for the unemployed in the UAE

Abu Dhabi: UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has decided to provide allowances to unemployed employees.

Of a foreign news agency Reports According to the UAE Vice President and Ruler of Dubai Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has introduced an insurance program for employees under which the employees will be given unemployment benefit for a limited period in case of unemployment.

The ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, wrote in his tweet that the purpose of this allowance is to increase the competitiveness of the labor market in the UAE, to protect the employees and to create a stable employment environment.

The decision to pay the unemployment allowance was made at a meeting chaired by the ruler of Dubai, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The meeting also took a number of other major decisions regarding the economy, education and trade.

Further details regarding unemployment allowance will be approved by the concerned ministries and insurance program.

The allowance is for employees who lose their job suddenly for any reason. This allowance will provide financial security to such employees until they get a new job.
