Riyadh: The Saudi government has announced that 3,000 riyals per month will be given to young people who take up the profession of delivery service in the kingdom.
According to Saudi media, the Ministry of Manpower and Promotion Manpower Fund (Target), Information Technology and Communication Authority and Amal Al-Mustaqbal Company have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to employ young Saudi boys and girls in the online delivery service. Under the new measure, 3,000 Saudi riyals per month will be given to Saudi nationals who take up the profession of home delivery service.
Officials say the young people will be given financial aid for two years so that Saudi girls and boys attached to the home delivery service can stand on their own two feet.
According to the memorandum of understanding, conditions have been imposed for the payment of 3,000 riyals in agriculture. Must be under 18 years of age and not over 60 years of age. Must be a government employee at the time of application and not working in any private company.
Drivers of vehicles can visit the employment gate and apply for agricultural assistance.
