The Monsterverse is gearing up for its next big installment. Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have just announced the sequel to the hit film “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire,” titled “Godzilla x Kong: Supernova.”
What’s in Store?
The movie is set to hit theaters on March 26, 2027. Dan Stevens is reprising his role as Trapper, and he’s joined by newcomers like Cailee Spaeny, Jack O’Connell, Daryl Lindo, Matthew Modine, and Alice Eve.
The teaser’s a bit of a mystery box. It shows a shot of the Monarch organization’s office. Monarch keeps an eye on giant monsters, also known as Titans. The teaser also flashes a hotline number. When you call it, you get a message asking you to report any Titan sightings. The idea is that sharing info helps keep the world safe.

That’s a nod to “Godzilla: King of the Monsters,” where a monster named Scylla woke up. The teaser also shows some fun merch, like a Godzilla bobblehead and a mug that says “Keep Kong and Carry On.”
