Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has announced a special film festival dedicated to his career, set to launch globally ahead of his 60th birthday. The “Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival” will begin on October 31 and conclude on November 2, coinciding with the actor’s milestone birthday.
Khan personally revealed the news on social media, much to the excitement of his fans. He shared a collage reel featuring posters from his past movies.
In his social media post, the acclaimed actor humorously commented, “Nothing much has changed—only the hair has changed and I’ve become a little more handsome.” His announcement confirmed that many of his celebrated films are returning to cinemas.

The festival is slated for a widespread release, with screenings in select cinemas across India, the Middle East, North America, the UK, Europe, New Zealand, and Australia. This global reach underscores Khan’s enduring international appeal.
Some of the iconic films scheduled for re-release include ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa’, ‘Dil Se’, ‘Devdas’ (2002), ‘Main Hoon Na’ (2004), ‘Om Shanti Om’ (2007), and his latest blockbuster ‘Jawan’ (2023). These titles represent different phases of his illustrious career.
In India, the festival will run for two weeks, showcasing films in over 75 cinemas across 30 cities nationwide. This expansive domestic presence ensures that a large fan base can partake in the celebrations.
On his professional front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’, released in 2023. The film received positive reviews and performed well at the box office.
Khan is next set to star in Siddharth Anand’s upcoming film, ‘King’. This highly anticipated project will also feature his daughter Suhana Khan, alongside Abhay Verma, Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhishek Bachchan, and Jackie Shroff.
