Global Citizen Live: Ed Sheeran, DJ Snake, Black Eyed Peas, Christine and The Queens … in concert in Paris

Global Citizen Live arrives in Paris, with an incredible roster of artists, including Ed Sheeran, Black Eyed Peas, DJ Snake, who will perform from the Champs de Mars as part of a 24-hour worldwide broadcast, starting in September. 25 of 2021.

During this exceptional event, live but also pre-recorded performances will be broadcast from all six continents, the organizers announce.

Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat, DJ Snake, HER, Black Eyed Peas and Christine and the Queens, as well as a special guest, Angélique Kidjo, are announced to perform in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Simultaneous passages are planned from Paris, Lagos, London, Los Angeles, New York, Rio de Janeiro, Seoul and Sydney.

The other artists and speakers who will participate from these various cities around the world are: Adam Lambert, Alessia Cara, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, BTS, Burna Boy, Camila Cabello, Coldplay, Cyndi Lauper, Davido, Demi Lovato, Duran Duran, Femi Kuti , Green Day, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-lee Furness, Jennifer Lopez, Jon Batiste, Keith Urban, Lang Lang, Lizzo, Lorde, Made Kuti, Meek Mill, Metallica, Rag’n’Bone Man, Ricky Martin, Shawn Mendes, The Lumineers, The Weeknd, Tiwa Savage and Usher.

To attend the concert that will take place on the Champs de Mars, tickets can be won on the site of globalcitizen.org. 5,000 winners will be drawn on August 25. Global Citizen Live specifies that the latest policies and security measures related to Covid-19 will be applied. Spectators must present a vaccination certificate with both full doses or a negative screening test.

Global Citizen is a movement with “the goal of ending extreme poverty in the world by 2030.”

To make this noble cause heard, Global Citizen Live brings together artists, celebrities and world leaders to warn of the urgent need to act on climate change and poverty.

Global Citizen Live is part of Global Citizen’s Global Recovery Plan, a year-long campaign marked by events designed to initiate a global recovery after Covid-19 and its aftermath.

Ahead of the G20 summit in October and COP26 in November, the Global Citizen Live campaign urges world leaders, corporations and foundations to defend the planet and overcome poverty in various ways.
