Girona’s Second Signing of the Transfer Window
The acquisition of Abel Ruiz marks the second signing for Girona FC after the transfer of centre-back Ladislav Krejci. The defender is making waves at the Euro Cup with the Czech Republic, while Girona paid around twelve million for his services. The total spend for the club so far stands at around 20 million, comparable to the highest sale in the club’s history, that of Aleix Garcia to Bayer Leverkusen.
