Gippy Grewal said about Aamir Khan’s look in Laal Singh Chaddha, he said: Punjabis don’t like fake beard

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s movie ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ is the subject of much discussion these days. On the one hand, the film has hit theaters, and on the other hand, there is constant opposition to the film on social media. People constantly demand to boycott the film. However, there is a section on the Internet that has supported the film. One of them is the Punjabi singer Gippy Grewal.

In fact, Punjabi singer and actor Gippy Grewal has lavished praise on the film Lal Singh Chaddha and actor Aamir. Even he has said a lot about the Punjabi aspect of him. As everyone knows, Aamir Khan has not only gained weight for the film, but he has also grown a beard and mustache to play the straight and sweet Punjabi. Gippy Grewal praised him for this and said that the Punjabis also liked his dedication.

He said that ‘to get the right look, I had to gain 10-15kg. I always feel that if you want to do a biopic of someone, you have to do it right. Must not have a false beard or mustache. Like many people do today. This is something to keep in mind. Please do not do this. Being a Punjabi, we don’t like it when we see a ‘Punjabi’ person with a fake beard.

Gippy Grewal said his son Shinda also received an offer to play Aamir’s childhood role in the film. To this he said: ‘At that time I didn’t even know about the story of the film. There was an angle in the movie where Shinda had to cut his hair, but we didn’t like him. Rather, it was not possible for us. That’s why we turned down the offer for this film.
