Today, Monday, July 3, the book “Sport as an Instrument of Development” will be launched at the Dominican Sports Hall of Fame at 6:00 PM.
There will be a panel made up of national figures to debate the theme “Towards a new educational model in the 21st century”. The book’s foreword, the Ombudsman, Pablo Ulloa; the former president of the Dominican Olympic Committee, Jose Joaquin Puello Herrera; the president of the Dominican Newspaper Society, Persio Maldonado Sánchez, and the author of the book, Gilberto Soriano. It will be conducted by Lic. Juliana Ramia Capellán, professor and expert in public policies” reported the author.
“It will be the first time in history that sport will be debated as a science for the benefit of the educational system, to contribute to national development and a more equitable, egalitarian society and social peace,” said Soriano.
The president of the Dominican Association of Sports Law (ADODEP) said that he puts at the service of society the first literature where the social problem of sport is addressed outside the educational system.
