Giants beat Rockies for 10th straight, Crawford homers

Brandon Crawford homered to lead Alex Cobb and the San Francisco Giants to a 7-1 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday, whom they beat for the 10th straight time.

Crawford drove in three runs and scored two for San Francisco, which stretched its win streak to five. Joey Bart, Brandon Belt, LaMonte Wade Jr. and Joc Pederson also drove in runs for the Giants.

Colorado suffered its fourth straight stumble.

Cobb (2-1) limited the Rockies to one run and three hits in 5 1/3 innings, during which he struck out six. He won for the first time since he debuted with the Giants on April 12.

San Francisco handed starter Chad Kuhl (3-1) his first loss of the season. He scored five runs against him in 4 2/3 innings.

It was just the second time in six starts that Kuhl has given up more than one run.

For the Rockies, Cuban José Iglesias 4-0. Venezuelan Yonathan Daza 3-1.

For the Giants, Venezuelan Thairo Estrada 5-2 with two runs scored. The Mexican Luis González 3-0 with a run scored.
