Atsu walks a lonely path in 17th-century rural Japan. This haunted mercenary lives only for revenge. Her family was taken from her many years ago. Now, she hunts those responsible across the beautiful, yet harsh, northern Japanese landscape. This is the core of Ghost of Yotei, a new standalone experience. It arrives 300 years after the acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima.
But a new chapter is about to unfold. Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) recently dropped big news. Ghost of Yotei will get free downloadable content (DLC) in 2026. This addition is called Ghost of Yotei Legends. It brings a huge twist to the game’s realistic world. Legends throws players into a fantastic, supernatural setting. Like Ghost of Tsushima, it features a cooperative multiplayer mode. This means players can team up and face challenges together.
The Ghost of Yotei Legends DLC offers more ways to play. You can tackle story missions with one other player. Or, join three others for intense survival modes. Players pick from four different classes. Each class brings unique skills to the fight. They will face many enemies, including huge, demonic versions of the "Yotei Six." It’s a whole new kind of battle.
