Getting close to a tall bear and taking a picture cost the American woman dearly

WASHINGTON: An American woman found it expensive to take a picture of a brown bear in Yellowstone National Park.

According to foreign media, American female tourist Samantha Dahrang is obsessed with photographing animals for which she is ready to risk her life.

A similar incident took place in Yellowstone National Park, USA, where Samantha decided to go near the brown bear with her three children and take a picture.

When Park Rangers told tourists to retreat for safety, Samantha got closer and took pictures of the bear.

Taking note of the incident, Acting U.S. Attorney Bob Murray called it foolish and dangerous to take close-up photos of a bear with children, and sentenced the female tourist.

According to the report, the American woman has been sentenced to four days in jail and a fine of one thousand dollars.
