Gervonta Davis will face Hector Luis Garcia

Gervonta Davis (27-0-0, 25 KO) has already set a date for his next fight. On January 7, he will face WBA super featherweight champion Héctor Luis García (16-0-0, 10 KO) at the Capital One Arena, in Washington DC. He will put his regular WBA lightweight title on the line. Shortly after announcing the expected clash against Ryan García (23-0-0, 19 KO), the American shared his next fight on his social networks.

Tank he wants to prepare well before his clash against Ryan Garcia. The American has not fought since he defeated Rolando Romero (14-1-0-12 KO) via sixth-round TKO in May. His rival will not make it easy for him. Héctor Luis García became super featherweight champion after defeating Roger Gutiérrez (26-4-1, 20 KO) by unanimous decision in August. He will move up a category to face Gervonta.

Davis will start strong in 2023. His clash against Ryan García is one of the most anticipated by fans and promises to be one of the fights of the year.
