José Luis Gayà gave an interview to Movistar before the duel against Real Madrid. In it, the Valencia captain was questioned about his future. Gayà, who renewed at the end of last year until 2027, said he was focused on the “present”, which is already “enough”, although he pointed out that “every year I am a possible sale”.
“Every year I am a possible sale. Thats the reality. Every summer my name sounds, but for now I have shown that I am happy here. Obviously I would like to play many games here, which I am doing, but the reality is that we never know what is going to happen. I am thinking about the present, that it is enough with this present that we have to think about what is going to happen ”, said Pedreguer’s side.
Gayà’s renewal seemed to put an end to the repeated rumors about his departure from the club, although, in recent months, fueled by the situation the team is going through, flirting as it is with relegation, his name has once again been in the spotlight of the market. Gayà, yes, has shown in recent years his commitment and his knowledge of how to handle himself in that context.
