The Movistar team faces one of the great events of the cycling calendar this Saturday: Milan – San Remo, which kicks off the Spring Classics on the cycling calendar.
A Movistar that will try to be the protagonist in a race in which they will try to stand up to the great favorites such as Tadej Pogacar, Mathieu Van der Poel or Wout Van Aert in search of the first monument of the year.
To do this, Movistar will go to Milan – San Remo with its three great classicists in search of winning the Classicissima: the Colombian Fernando Gaviria, who arrives in top form after his second place in Milan – Turin; and the Spanish Álex Aranburu and Iván García Cortinawho will also try to resist with the best in the final stretch near Sanremo.
Together with Gaviria, Aranburu and Cortina, Movistar will go to Milan – San Remo with Gonzalo Serrano, Johan Jacobs, Lluis Mas and Oier Lazkanowho will work for their leaders in a Classicissima in which Movistar will seek to surprise the big favorites.
