Gautam Gambhir Visits Siddhivinayak Temple for Blessings Before India’s England Tour

Indian cricket team’s head coach Gautam Gambhir visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak temple with his wife, Natasha Jain.
This visit comes ahead of India’s tour to England, where they’ll play a five-match test series starting June 20, 2025.

A New Era for Indian Cricket?

The team’s England tour is just around the corner, but the Indian squad has yet to be announced.
Things got interesting when Test captain Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from the format on May 7.
Virat Kohli followed suit just five days later.
Both players had already retired from T20 internationals after winning the T20 World Cup 2024.
However, they’re still playing T20 cricket in the IPL 2025 – Rohit for Mumbai Indians and Kohli for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Gambhir shared pictures of his temple visit on social media.

  • The Indian team won 4-1 in their last test series against England in 2024.
  • The upcoming series is expected to be a tough one, with the team still adjusting to the loss of its two biggest names in test cricket.
