Basketball Hall of Fame Nominees Announced
The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame has announced its nominees for the Class of 2025, featuring a diverse group of basketball legends from around the world.
Among the top new candidates are Carmelo Anthony, Sue Bird, Maya Moore, Dwight Howard, Doc Rivers, Billy Donovan, Sylvia Fowles, Chamique Holdsclaw, Mark Few, Lisa Bluder, and Micky Arison.
Spanish basketball players Marc Gasol, Juan Carlos Navarro, Jorge Garbajosa, and Amaya Valdemoro are also among the nominees, with Gasol being a new addition to the list.
Selection Process
The selection process for the Basketball Hall of Fame involves several stages. The finalists will be announced in February 2025 during the NBA All-Star weekend.
The members of the Class of 2025 will be revealed in April 2025 during the NCAA Final Four.
