A brazen heist went down on a quiet Saturday morning. Two masked men, dressed in dark clothes, stormed a jewelry store on Garzón and Lezica avenues in Colón.
They burst in around 10:30 am. The robbers, wielding a hammer, smashed the main window and counter, threatening everyone to stay put. A victim told police the thugs made off with a haul of watches, rings, and other jewelry.
Luckily, no one got hurt. Cops from the forensic unit scoured the scene for clues to track down the thieves. They’re still on the hunt for the pair.
