Galatasaray Enters Race for Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva

The summer transfer window is heating up. Bernardo Silva, Manchester City’s star midfielder, is in high demand. The Turkish champions, Galatasaray, are making a strong push to sign him. They’ve already talked to Silva, and he’s reportedly interested in their offer.

Silva wants to play in the Champions League, and Galatasaray can offer him that. This could derail Benfica’s plans to bring him back home. The Portuguese club has been trying to sign Silva for next season.

But Galatasaray isn’t the only team after Silva. Barcelona is also in the mix. Their sporting director, Deco, has made it clear that he wants to sign the 29-year-old midfielder.

Transfer Talks

The Turkish newspaper Fanatik says Galatasaray is close to reaching a deal with Silva. They’ll need to agree on a fee with Manchester City, since Silva has one year left on his contract.

Galatasaray is also targeting another big name: Ilkay Gundogan. They’ve prepared a two-year contract worth €6 million for the German midfielder.

Competition for Signings

The competition for top players is fierce. Galatasaray has already signed Leroy Sané from Bayern Munich. Now they’re going after Silva and Gundogan. It’s going to be an interesting summer in the transfer market.

Some key targets are:

  • Bernardo Silva: Manchester City midfielder
  • Ilkay Gundogan: German midfielder
  • Leroy Sané: Newly signed Galatasaray player from Bayern Munich

These signings could shake up the football landscape. Teams like Benfica and Barcelona will have to adapt to the changing market.
